Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated and organized Contract Administrator to join a dynamic team in California. This role involves supporting construction projects through various administrative tasks and ensuring that all contractual obligations are met efficiently. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the administration of all aspects of the construction project.
  • Assist Project Manager in generating cost controls and project-related invoicing.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, material suppliers, hired labor forces, inspectors, testing labs, and others as required to fulfill the requirements of the schedule and project(s).
  • Manage project correspondence as required.
  • Maintain job files and handle all project-related paperwork.
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
  • Generate change orders and manage claim proceedings.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate document control for the unique aspects of each job.
  • Submit all required reports as requested by Management or clients.
  • Inform Project Manager of major problems encountered at the construction site in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Able to prepare well-written correspondence, proposals, claims, and reports with minimal assistance.
  • 1-2 years of construction administration experience or 2 years of education in Administration.
  • 1-2 years of experience using Procore construction management software REQUIRED.
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively with a diverse workforce.
